Diggle, Oldham

In collaboration with Redrow Homes, we worked on a site made up of two parcels of land, defined by an existing stone wall along Huddersfield Road and an access road leading to the new Saddleworth High School. To the east, the site is anchored by the Grade II listed former Shaw Pallets office building.

The design approach placed strong emphasis on reflecting local character, ensuring the proposed dwellings complemented the surrounding context along Huddersfield Road. Materials such as reconstituted stone and concrete roof tiles were carefully selected to achieve this balance.
